Drama is not just for those Brad Pitt or Julia Roberts wannabe’s, it is great for some many reasons.

Drama above everything is fun and challenging. It allows you to explore different characters, helps you express feelings – sometimes without words, reading body language, tones of voices, expressions, the list goes on an on.

Adult Drama Group

The Adult Drama Group will meet once a week, a carefully planned session that will involve theatrical exercises, voice and speech exercises, improvisation, short plays and narratives amongst other things will have everyone bringing out many different characters and situations. Our Drama Instructor, Aisling Smith has a lot of experience from directing plays, script writing to exploring that inner character within each of us, in an atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed and uninhibited.

If you are new to Abu Dhabi then this is a good way to get to know people and be involved in something exciting. For those people who have English as a Second Language, it is one of the best ways to practice English, not only in speaking, but expressions and tones. If you need to carry out presentations etc in your job but feel a little uncomfortable in doing this then Drama is a great way to build confidence and voice projection.

Childrens Drama

Children are naturally creative, so to capture that creativity through drama is fantastic. If children start drama early the sense of confidence that they have will continue to grow with them. Using props and carefully planned exercises, children will explore the magical world of theatre. Attend the Musical Theatre classes and you will have an all singing, dancing and acting child!
